No April Fool’s stunt here. Cadbury Creme Egg Seriously Good Mayonnaise is definitely a thing. I know. I have a jar. If PR’s send food to the office, I’m usually swarmed by colleagues who want to taste it. This mayonnaise had the opposite effect.
It’s really not for dipping your chips, it’s for waffles or crumpets, and a must for Creme Egg and Heinz fans.
Described as a ‘scrumptious sweet spread made with rich, creamy and smooth Heinz (Seriously) Good Mayonnaise, chunks of delicious Cadbury chocolate and the glorious gooeyness of Cadbury Creme Egg’, the spread contains egg, milk and mustard, and is not suitable for vegans. I like Heinz (Seriously) Good Mayo and Creme Egg. Mix the two and you have an unwieldy beast of a product, or a bloody good PR stunt.
You won’t find this weird and wonderful concoction on the high street. You can get your hands on your own by visiting the Heinz X Cadbury Creme Egg installation at the Truman Brewery from Thursday 11 April (11am-8pm) to Saturday 13th April (11am to 4pm). Be quick, there’s minimal stock.
